What's Included
CEA offers a wide variety of services and amenities, Below is a list of what is included in your program price.
Students are immersed in a completely French language environment. All classes are held in French, and CEA students sit alongside international students. Language classes focus on oral and written expression, language development and listening comprehension. Classes are complemented by a wide variety of electives offered in French, thus enabling students of all levels from beginner and above to progress in their French language.
Aix-en-Provence is celebrated by writers Emile Zola, Alphonse Daudet, and Marcel Pagnol; immortalized on the canvases of Paul Cezanne, Vincent Van Gogh, and Pablo Picasso; frequented by celebrities old and new, Brigitte Bardot, Grace Kelly, Brad and Angelina, and the list goes on. Strolling down the gorgeous Cours Mirabeau lined with towering plane trees, picturesque cafés filled with the fashionable 'Aixois,' and five of the 27 fountains located in what is known as the 'city of fountains,' you will immediately pick up on the heartbeat of Aix.
A short promenade through the winding cobblestone streets leads you past the main square and market place to the 18th Century building where you will attend classes and truly immerse yourself in the French language. At the crossroads to all of the varying landscapes in Provence, you easily can visit the wild region of Camargue, the limestone hills and troglodyte farms of Les Alpilles, the majestic French Alps and the glitzy beaches of the French Riviera.
