Boasting a historic tradition of art and literature, a bustling commercial center, and a diverse population, London offers something for everyone. The campus of AIU London is centrally located between Hyde and Regents parks and near some of London's finest museums, galleries, palaces, churches and theaters. AIU provides guaranteed housing in Central London or you may choose to make your own living arrangements.

Study abroad participants are integrated into the classroom with degree seeking students from over 100 different countries. About 25% of the student body comes from the United States, 28% from Europe and almost half come from Asia, Africa, South America and the Middle East. This multinational learning environment provides an ideal setting to gain awareness of global issues and perspectives. The self-confidence and knowledge a student gains from this experience will be a valuable asset when they graduate and begin their career. Like UW-Stout, many of AIU's courses are vocationally oriented and targeted toward the world of work. The campus is made up of seven buildings that house small lecture rooms, design studios, photography labs, video production facilities, a computer center and library.

Students in short-term programs are not required but encouraged to participate.  While the work is on exhibit, students will be expected to organize the appropriate faculty and the program director to assess their work for related study abroad credits, as needed. Students returning from HAWK will exhibit their work in September and students returning from all other programs in February. Students will also be responsible for submitting a complete electronic portfolio (CD, DVD) of their work to the Program Office by the end of their exhibition week.
