Scholarships

  • Stout Foundation Scholarships
    The Stout University Foundation sponsors scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students. More than $500,000 is awarded annually for the benefit of UW-Stout students.
  • Various: Study Abroad Scholarship Database
    This database from the University of Minnesota, lists more than 150 different scholarships that are available to study abroad students. 
  • Worldwide: Institute for International Education
    This directory features detailed descriptions of hundreds of scholarships, fellowships, grants and paid internships for U.S. undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate and professionals.
  • Worldwide: Gilman Scholarship
    This scholarship is available to U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving the Federal Pell Grant.
  • Worldwide: Boren Scholarships and Fellowships
    The Boren Scholarship is funded by the National Security Education Program (NSEP), which focuses on geographic area, language, and fields of study deemed critical to U.S. national security.
  • Worldwide: InternationalScholarships.com
    This site contains a comprehensive listing of scholarships, grants, loan programs and other information to assist college students in their pursuit to study abroad.
  • Worldwide: Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is available to students who are pursuing full-time study for one academic year abroad. Please note that application deadlines are set by individual Rotary Clubs.
  • United Kingdom: BUTEX Scholarship
    This scholarship is available to students studying at select institutions in the United Kingdom for a semester or academic year.
  • Worldwide: Searchable Database of Scholarships (Created by the University of Minnesota)
    The University of Minnesota has compiled a serachable database of over 180 scholarship sites for undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Worldwide: Fulbright Scholar Program
    For U.S. citizens and graduating senior undergraduate and graduate students for many different opportunities abroad and in all fields of study. A Fulbright scholarship is a year-long or 9-12 month program.
  • Germany: CDS: Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX)
    This scholarship is a year-long work study scholarship with a strong focus on cultural exchange. This program is intended for young professionals in the fields of business, technical, vocational and agriculture, but applicants from all fields are encouraged to apply.
  • Germany: German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)
    DAAD offers a wide range of opportunities to students, scholars, and higher education institutions of the United States and Canada, from undergraduate students to faculty, for study and research in Germany.
